The Circuit Clerk position is an elected one, voted on by the people of Kankakee County. It is a constitutional office and part of the 21st Judicial Branch of Illinois, including Iroquois County. Our offices are located in the Kankakee County Courthouse. As the official record keeper of the court files, the circuit clerk is part of the administrative arm of the judicial branch of government.
